Brazilian Keratin Treatment is a revolutionary process that softens hair, makes hair straighter, adds high shine and creates healthy hair. By penetrating the cuticle it can repair internal damage. The results are smooth, silky and straighter hair.

The BKT is perfect for all types of chemically treated hair (bleached, hi-lights, colored, permed, relaxed or previously straightened). It transforms curly, frizzy, damaged, unhealthy, dull, mistreated hair to luxurious eye catching hair.

The BKT is made up of "Keratin" a liquid form of hair. There are no harsh chemicals. This therapy encases the cuticle with a keratin bond to promote healing while repelling environmental toxins and ultra violet rays. It does not break the bonds of the hair shaft like a chemical straighteners. Keratin is a natural substance which comprises approximately 88% of your hair.

The BKT is not permanent. With repeated use this treatment will last longer and longer. It will require less blow drying time and results will be very good with a flat iron.

Yes, it is perfect for ANY type of hair over ANY previous chemical treatment (colored, permed, relaxed, highlighted and/or bleached).

2. Can styling products be used during the first 2-days?

No, they can only be used after the hair is washed.

3. How long does the treatment keep the hair straight?

It lasts 2 to 4 months depending on the hair type.

4. Is it best to apply BKT before or after coloring?

For optimal results, color / highlighting processes should be done before applying Global Keratin. Otherwise, wait 2 weeks before applying color or highlights.

5. Which type of shampoo is recommended after the treatment?

We recommend shampoos that are Sodium Chloride free and provide Keratin and UV protection.
